MY STORY

Where on earth do I begin?

I’ve always been a creative, even from a young age. At the age of just nine years old I was designing and making my own magazines out of paper so I could sell them to my parents for fifty pence a piece. I guess you could say I was a little entrepreneur in the making.

My father purchased my very first camera when I was twelve years old and I’ve been creating content since. From messing around filming videos in the local park with my school friends, I never knew I’d be doing it as a profession today.

Being an empath really does allow me to be more creative than usual through the power of photography and videography. I’m most definitely not your stereotypical man, I’ll be rocking out on my drums one minute and then dressing up as a princess with my daughters the next.

And of course, eating my all time favourite snack… Oreos!

PERSONAL LIFE

Surprised? You shouldn’t be. I understand that many business’ don’t share their personal life but I’m a firm believer that wedding couples don’t just book a service, they book the person behind the camera and their skills too. Plus, this is my business and it’s how I like to run things, opinions don’t matter.

Being born in Bristol many of my wedding couples have pointed out that I've got a 'farmer' accent. Although if I’m being completely honest, I’d consider myself posh compared to my wife (don't tell her I said that!) Yes, I’m married. My wife Jessica and I met at secondary school in Bristol and we’ve been together since the age of fourteen. Childhood sweethearts right? Correct. We tied the knot in the summer of 2018 and it was the most magical day of my life. Jessica also started her own business in the animal care industry during that year and that mainly involved dog sitting and dog walking for people in our town. Dog care has always been her passion, just like mine is photography and videography. As I mentioned before, times change and sadly she doesn't do this anymore but luckily, she has also found her niche, weddings. Those who want their wedding day accompanied by their dog(s) can and Jessica is the woman for you.

Fast forward to 2020, I became a first time father to Lindy, our daughter on the 11th of April which has made me want to push my working life even further than before. YouTube has since returned to the scene as well so that we could share our journey with Lindy during the pandemic. Feel free to search us, we’re called Warfi Baby - see what we did there? Sharing our journey is something we have both thoroughly enjoyed and will continue to do so in the future. Other than photography and videography, I also have a passion for bookkeeping, writing, music and cars. At this present time, I’ve almost finished writing my own book about my life and spiritualism which will be great for Lindy & Mabel to read before I start losing my marbles. Music is incredible, I love all genres and it helps me connect to the spirit realm. Cars, I absolutely love my wheels. After purchasing our first family home the first thing I wanted to do was upgrade my car from a three door Corsa to a five door estate Ford Focus ST with all the power possible. The money I spend on my car does not need to be discussed but it does look car show worthy.

2021 was literally just weddings galore. Nothing important happened in my personal journey during this time because I was constantly working until early hours in the morning every single day to keep up with the editing. However, once weddings began to come to an end for the year during the winter months, a very special event occurred. The birth of our second child, Mabel. Myself and Jessica pre-planned to have a home birth to makes things easier and because of the fact that labour to my wife seems like a breeze. But, and a big but here - we didn't expect to deliver our second child alone without a midwife. Yes, without a midwife. It was the most magical moment ever for us a family and I wouldn't have changed it for the world. Of course, everything was documented with photography and videography, I couldn't help myself. I am more than happy to show you our experience as well (I've blurred out the gory parts!) and it was so incredible to find out it was another little girl as we kept it a secret until the birth.

Any-who, as you can see, I like sharing my life. This is me and you're very welcome to join and take part in my story.
